Embedded Video Content and YouTube

Parts of our Website (including the game guides, news and video sections) display third-party videos that are hosted on YouTube and embedded using YouTube's official embedded player. These videos are not hosted, stored or owned by us; they remain the property of YouTube and the respective content creators, and all associated intellectual property rights belong to those rights holders. Any trademarks, game footage, channel names and other materials shown in these videos belong to their respective owners, and their appearance on our Website does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners.

Where we display a video we aim to provide attribution to, and a link to, the original creator or channel. We use the YouTube API Services to discover and present this content. By using the parts of our Website that display or rely on YouTube content, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that your interaction with embedded videos is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of any embedded video and we make no warranty regarding its content, accuracy or availability, as videos may be edited, made private or removed by their owners at any time without notice to us. If you are a rights holder and believe that content displayed on our Website infringes your rights, or if you would like a video that features you or your work removed, please contact us at info@theghoppers.com and we will review and, where appropriate, promptly remove the relevant embed.

Trading Marketplace

Our Website offers a Trading Marketplace where members may list Diablo II / Diablo II: Resurrected in-game items and services and arrange trades with one another. TheGHoppers acts solely as a matchmaker: we help members find one another, but every trade is carried out by the members themselves inside the game. We do not take custody of, hold in escrow, deliver, or guarantee any item, service or account, and we are not a party to any trade agreed between members.

All marketplace prices, offers and settlements are denominated in in-game value only — runes, in-game gold, or item-for-item barter. Real-money trading is strictly prohibited: listings and offers may not solicit or involve real money, external or "forum" currencies, gift cards, or any payment outside the game. Real-money trading of Diablo II items or accounts also violates the game publisher's End User License Agreement and is entirely out of scope here. Listings that solicit money are removed, and the responsible accounts may be restricted.

Trades happen between members at their own risk. You are responsible for verifying the other party and the terms before exchanging anything in-game. We provide reputation signals (vouches tied to completed trades and completed-trade counts) and a reporting tool to assist the community, but these are aids, not guarantees. Report suspicious or rule-breaking listings using the report button on any listing; our moderators review reports and may remove listings or restrict accounts. We accept no liability for losses arising from member-to-member trades.

Diablo III Board

Our Website also offers a Diablo III Board. It is not a marketplace and the Trading Marketplace terms above do not apply to it, because Diablo III has no economy: the Auction House was removed in 2014, and there is no in-game currency of tradeable value. The Board carries no prices, no offers and no settlements of any kind. It exists only to help members arrange drop games, item requests, carries, power-leveling, and community gear-up events with one another. As with the Marketplace, TheGHoppers acts solely as a matchmaker: we do not take custody of, hold in escrow, deliver, or guarantee any item, service or account, we never touch your account, and every session takes place between members inside the game.

Members should understand how Diablo III items actually change hands, because the Board will not pretend otherwise. Almost every legendary and set item is Bind-on-Account the moment it drops. Such an item can only be given to another player inside the two-hour drop window that follows, and only to a player who was in the game at the moment it fell. Items found alone, or offered after that window, can never be passed on. A small number of items — the Ethereals — can never be given to another player at all, by any means, and the Board will not accept a request or an alert for one. Nothing on the Board can be bought or sold.

Every activity on the Board is offered as goodwill and is repaid only in reputation. Real-money trading is strictly prohibited: no request, service, carry or power-level may solicit or involve real money, gift cards, external or "forum" currencies, or any payment of any kind. Account sharing and credential handoff are also strictly prohibited — never give your login details to anyone offering to play your character, and never ask another member for theirs. Paid boosting and account sharing both violate the game publisher's End User License Agreement, and account sharing is the principal way Diablo III accounts are stolen. Requests soliciting money or account access are removed, and the responsible accounts may be restricted.

Sessions happen between members at their own risk. We provide reputation signals (vouches tied to completed sessions and completed-session counts) and a reporting tool to assist the community, but these are aids, not guarantees. Report suspicious or rule-breaking requests using the report button on any request; our moderators review reports and may remove requests or restrict accounts. We accept no liability for losses arising from member-to-member sessions.

These organizations may link to our home page, to publications or to other Web site information so long as the link: (a) is not in any way misleading; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement or approval of the linking party and it products or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party's site.
