Diablo 1 Tournaments
Where competition is measured in seconds, not seasons.
Diablo 1
In the depths beneath Tristram, glory belongs to the swift. Diablo I keeps no ladders and no seasons — its arena is the speedrun, where warriors, rogues and sorcerers race the same sixteen floors to slay the Lord of Terror before the clock does. Every dungeon is freshly seeded, so no two descents are alike, and mastery means bending luck, routing and nerve to your will.
Ways to Compete
- Any% — reach and destroy Diablo as fast as the seed allows.
- No Dupe / No Major Glitches — clean runs that bar the old item-duplication tricks.
- Level 1 — never gain a level; win on wits and gear alone.
- Class categories — separate ladders for Warrior, Rogue and Sorcerer.
- Boss rush — judged purely by how quickly the great foes fall.
Legends of the Arena
The most storied run in the game's history is Maciej "Groobo" Maselewski's 2009 segmented Any% — a descent of just three minutes and twelve seconds that earned two Guinness World Records and stood so far ahead of its age that challengers hesitated for years to answer it. Even now the community gathers on speedrun.com and Discord to chase old ghosts and carve new marks.
