- Buy Empire Earth Gold Edition (the base game and The Art of Conquest) on Steam or GOG. Both versions run on modern Windows.
Playing online
- The original online service closed long ago, so the game's own multiplayer menu cannot find games on the internet. LAN play still works.
- The community runs NeoEE (neoee.net): install its client to play Empire Earth and The Art of Conquest online through its lobby.
Common fixes
- If the game starts in a small window or at a low resolution, use the in-game video options first; the PCGamingWiki page for Empire Earth covers widescreen settings.
- Run the Steam or GOG version rather than an old CD install — they carry the compatibility fixes.
