Barbarian
The Barbarian is Diablo III's melee juggernaut — a whirlwind of steel who generates Fury in combat and spends it on brutal area attacks. Returning from Diablo II, he is tanky, mobile and built to stand in the middle of every fight.

Fury builds through attacking and drains out of combat, rewarding constant aggression.
Signature skills
- Whirlwind — spin through packs while moving.
- Hammer of the Ancients — heavy single-target slams.
- Frenzy, Rend, Leap and the Wrath of the Berserker ultimate.
How he plays
Shout for buffs, close with Leap or Charge, and grind packs down with Whirlwind or Hammer. His sets — Wrath of the Wastes, Immortal King, Might of the Earth — decide which skill carries the build.
Common approaches
- Whirlwind / Rend — the classic speed-farming build.
- Hammer of the Ancients — single-target Rift pushing.
- Leapquake — Earthquakes triggered by Leap.
