Spiritborn
The Spiritborn arrived with Vessel of Hatred in October 2024 — the first wholly new class in the series in years. A jungle warrior of Nahantu who fights alongside four Spirit Guardians, wielding quarterstaves, glaives and polearms in fast, acrobatic three-hit combinations.
Resource: Vigor
Vigor does not regenerate on its own — it comes back only from Basic attacks. The class is a strict builder-and-spender, and the rhythm of alternating between the two is the whole feel of it.
Class mechanic: the Spirit Hall
At level 15 you choose a Primary and a Secondary Spirit Guardian, each granting a passive that reshapes the build. The four spirits are the class's real skill trees:
- Jaguar (Rezoka) — flurries of fast strikes and building ferocity.
- Gorilla (Wumba) — thorns, barriers and damage reduction; the tank line.
- Eagle (Kwatli) — speed, precision and evade-driven mobility.
- Centipede (Balazan) — poison, damage over time, crowd control and healing.
Any spirit's skills can be mixed with any other, so a Jaguar body with an Eagle heart plays nothing like a Gorilla with a Centipede one.
Common archetypes
- Quill Volley — ranged eagle feathers, the build that made the class famous.
- Rushing Claw — jaguar melee at full speed.
- Thorns / Payback — gorilla retaliation damage.
- Poison Centipede — stacked damage over time with heavy sustain.
- Evade builds — turning the dodge itself into the attack.
Mobile, flashy and forgiving to level — the easiest of the newer classes to pick up.
