TheGHoppers League

TheGHoppers League

A few months. Four worlds. One champion.

The Season-Long Campaign

TheGHoppers League is one campaign fought across the whole of Sanctuary, and it runs for a few months — cut to the turn of the seasons themselves, so that the ladders and seasons of Diablo II, III and IV all fall inside it. Diablo I, Diablo II, Diablo III and Diablo IV are not four separate contests here — they are four fronts in the same war. Every trial you survive in any of them feeds a single table of standings, and when the campaign burns out, one name stands above all the others.

Four Worlds, One Road

No champion of a single game will take this crown. The League is deliberately a mix: each of the four games carries its own trials through the campaign, and the standings gather them all. To be named champion you must have fought — and been scored — in every one of the four. Master one world and you may lead for a while; master all four and you finish it wearing the crown.

How the Campaign Is Fought

  • One campaign, a few months — the League opens on a declared date and closes with the last of the season's ladders.
  • Cut to the seasons — the window is set so the running seasons and ladders of Diablo II, III and IV are all fought inside it.
  • Four games, one table — Diablo I, II, III and IV each contribute trials, and every result feeds the same standings.
  • All four, or no crown — only challengers scored in every one of the four games are eligible to be named champion.
  • Trials throughout — races, ladders and timed runs are declared as the months turn, so a late arrival still has ground to make up.
  • Proven results — every run is submitted with proof and confirmed by the League keepers before it is scored.

The Prize Pool

The League carries a prize, and it is forged by those who dare to enter. Every challenger pays a small entry fee, and those fees are gathered into a single pool that goes to the champion when the campaign ends. TheGHoppers keeps only a small share of it — no more than 5% — to pay for running it: the hosting, the verification of runs and the tools that keep the standings honest. Nothing beyond that is taken.

  • A small entry fee — one payment to join the campaign, kept deliberately low.
  • The pool is the prize — every fee goes into it, and it grows with each challenger who enters.
  • The champion takes the pool — paid in full, less the organisation's share.
  • A 5% cap — the most TheGHoppers keeps, and it pays only for running the League.
  • Open books — the size of the pool, the number of challengers and every deduction are posted here once the campaign opens.

Entry, payment and eligibility rules will be published in full before entry opens. Nothing is owed and nothing is taken until the campaign is declared open.

The Campaign Is Not Yet Open

The League is still being forged. The opening date, the closing date, the entry fee, the trials of each game and the full rules will be posted here before a single challenger is enrolled.
