Runs are tracked per class and per ruleset on speedrun.com/diablo. Common categories include Any% (kill Diablo as fast as possible) and All Quests, split by Warrior, Rogue and Sorcerer.

Routes & Strategy
- Rush the down-stairs, fighting only what blocks the path.
- Town Portal and Phasing to skip fights and reposition.
- Sorcerer Any% leans on Teleport and high-level Apocalypse/Firewall; Warrior relies on early weapon finds.

Routes & Strategy
Hellfire routes weave the new Hive and Crypt branches into the descent and exploit oils for early power spikes. Class choice and the Na-Krul book trick are key timesavers.
